From the perspective of Eastern Medicine, we believe that the body holds its own healing potential. Just as a gardener nurtures plants by pruning and caring for them, trusting their ability to meet the challenge, practitioners employ holistic techniques to remove barriers to well-being and help each person become more resilient and more medicinial.
As the plant needs good soil, a healthy microbiome in the soil, sunlight, we also need blood that is rich in nutrients, a healthy microbiome in our intestines, Vitamin D from sunlight in order to produce our own medicine.
Our assessment of symptoms, health patterns, along with the assessment of the pulses and tongue help us indentify root cause issues. The gardener would see pale leaves and conclude the soil is not healthy. Similarly, the acupuncturist sees a pale face, lips, tongue, a frail pulse, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety and heart palpitations as part of a pattern indicitative of Blood Deficiency.
Health and healing is a process! Once we address Blood Deficiencies, for instance, the body will be able to show deeper root-cause patterns that need addressed next. Stage by stage we are removing blocks and challenges that are not allowing the body to be it's best physician.
Through these methods, we aim to cultivate resilience, empowering you to adapt and thrive amidst life's challenges. Join the journey to unlock your body's innate wisdom and vitality!
